For you Facebook Is More Important than TV?

A new survey from Veritas Communications in Canada shows that about half of job leaders believe that cultural media is more significant than mass media for merchandising purposes. And what does cultural media mean? According to those polled, cultural media includes Facebook, YouTube and blogs.
Forty-six percentage of those surveyed have said that this sort of cultural media is still more significant than video, wireless, newspapers and magazines. This isn’t an unexpected lot of statistics, but it does spotlight a turning of the tide, where the online sector is more significant than every new facet of conventional media. And if it’s more significant than conventional media for merchandising purposes, the implications are that cultural media has get far more significant for a good many aspects of our lives. Marketing goes where the folk are.

Now radio. That truly doesn’t surprise anyone, does it? Advertising on the wireless has been dipping for some moment now. But the tipping level appears to be a change off from video, and the remainder. At least in Canada. And we all know why. Marketing online is more targeted, you go best stats and analysis for what you’re paying for, and it’s cheaper to hit much folk. I wear’t require to get into duration on this level, but I’d passion to view some stats on new countries across the world, and a study of how the consumers look about the same topics.
The new finding from Veritas is how job executives look about employees hanging away on cultural media websites while they’re in the agency. They wear’t like it. Two-thirds of those surveyed wear’t need employees using these cultural media sites at all. But 34% f those polled do need employees to recognize their manner around a cultural media place.
